Before And After Generic Tower

November 17, 2021By admin Journal

We do a lot of work with custom computers here. We build, and troubleshoot custom gaming rigs, and specially built high-end computers, like this generic tower. Computers tend to electrostatically attract dust, and that is what we see here. It is important to establish and maintain a good airflow, so we do cable management to allow a clear flow.

You may notice in this example that we also moved the internal cards to provide an advantage. The graphics card has been placed in the preferred channel, and the sound card relocated so it is not right up against the graphics card. Accumulated dust in the CPU heatsink has been cleared, and we cleaned and reapplied thermal paste – very important.
